Founder of APCA Malaysia
Chef Niklesh Sharma's vision for the Asia Pastry Forum began 15 years ago when he founded the APCA group of pastry and culinary schools. His ambition was to create a prestigious platform in Asia, where celebrated master chefs, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (MOFs), and world champions could gather annually in Malaysia. The event aimed to attract a diverse group of professionals, educators, students, and enthusiasts from around the world, fostering an engaging and informal environment of learning and camaraderie. Attendees would have the chance to learn new techniques, savor exceptional food, and gain significant exposure, all while building lasting friendships and enhancing their culinary skills.
Since its inception in 2012, the Asia Pastry Forum has flourished. It has become the world's largest and only annual pastry training event offering an affordable training structure.
