About Masterchef
Lim Chin Kheng

Chef Lim Chin Kheng is an accomplished pastry chef currently serving as the Executive Pastry Chef at APCA Malaysia, where he leads a talented team of pastry chefs. His expertise and dedication have garnered significant recognition, including being ranked as Asia's number two in the Asia Pastry Cup 2016 and sixth worldwide in the World Pastry Cup 2017 held in France.
Chef Lim embarked on his culinary journey at the Academy of Pastry Arts Malaysia in 2014 and has since cultivated a robust career, gaining extensive experience at prestigious hotels such as One World Hotel, The Saujana Resorts and Hotel, and Melia Hotel Kuala Lumpur. His commitment to the art of pastry is evident through his full-time workshops and intensive classes, which he conducts for students across Malaysia, Indonesia, India, and the Philippines.
Specializing in French pastries, wedding cakes, travel cakes, plated desserts, and chocolates, Chef Lim also holds a personal interest in developing advanced classes and innovative recipes, particularly focusing on Japanese French pastries and light sponges. His passion for pastry and relentless pursuit of creativity and excellence have earned him respect and recognition as an inspirational figure in the culinary world.
