Lawrence Cheong
Chef Lawrence Cheong, also known as Lawrence Bobo, a distinguished figure in the patisserie world, is renowned for his innovative approach and mastery in French pastry and chocolate confectionery. Since earning the title of ‘Asia Chocolate Prince’ in 2015, Chef Lawrence has been recognized for his exceptional skills, particularly in crafting exquisite chocolate showpieces. His team secured 4th place at the Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie in Lyon that same year, with his chocolate showpiece receiving top honors.
Recently appointed as the sole Ambassador for the Chocolate Academy by Barry Callebaut in the Asia Pacific region, Chef Lawrence continues to influence the industry. He travels globally, conducting masterclasses, providing competition training, and offering consultancy services. His expertise has been instrumental in coaching national teams for renowned competitions like the World Pastry Cup and the World Chocolate Master.
